Hand-picked member-exclusive Bourbon Meet Widow Jane.

She comes from Brooklyn and she loves making Spirits. Nobody knows what happened to her husband. Alright, Widow Jane is actually a distillery and the name comes from a nearby mine where the crystal-clear water is sourced for wonderful booze. And the water is not the only locally-sourced ingredient. Widow Jane also grows their own corn and it's no wonder they keep on winning awards.

This particular bottle is a Single Barrel Bourbon, aged for 12 years in American oak barrels. And what's so special about this one? Well, it's exclusive as hell, for one thing. There's a barrel of this thing, carrying the number 94, and it was selected and secured by the Flaviar team. For whom, you ask? For you, the Flaviar member, silly! And for you only. We told you it would pay off, haven't we? Every single barrel is unique in nuances, but what each bottle promises is great complexity, round spice and a creamy finish. There's a tiny catch, though. There are only 192 bottles of this treasure available, so you might want to hurry up.

Ratings & Reviews
James
James,
This has become my gold standard for rating and comparing bourbons. The BEST in my opinion.

Matt
Matt,
good straight

David
David,
Warm and inviting nose and I definitely get the spice. A little rough neat, but really smooths out with just a little ice or small splash of spring water. This is one to share with good friends and would probably be great with a good cigar.

Rob
Rob,
Weak but OK . Reminds me of some under aged whiskey. Not one of my finest! Had 5 other whiskey drinkers sample the bottle. We all had the same conclusion.

Barry
Barry,
Best I’ve ever tasted

Doug
Doug,
Very nice. Bold out of the gate. I’m not sure about “spicy,” but I REALLY taste the oak at the end, which reminds me of chopping firewood when I was younger. Not smoky like a pleated Scotch, but that smell of freshly-downed and split oak.
