Lavish, lush, and fresh.

Remember, sometimes an ending is just a new beginning. This was the case for Western Son Distillery guys who left their corporate careers and set out in Pilot Point, Texas in a 30,000 square foot building that used to be The Old Panty Factory. Their yellow corn comes from the Midwest and Texas and they use water from a local aquifer to make their Spirits in column and copper pot stills. Plus, a portion of their profits goes to the Peter Burks Unsung Hero Fund, which is a non-profit organization providing care packages to deployed military.

Distilled 10-times in their column still, Western Son Prickly Pear Vodka is a unique offering that won Platinum at the 2018 SIP Awards. Everything from the lavish pinkish purple hue, the juicy nose and and lush palate, packed with floral, fresh, and slightly sweet flavors make this fruit-flavored Vodka dangerously drinkable. It’s perfect for those hot summer days (and nights) when you and your friends are longing for a tasty and refreshing drink.

What does Western Son Prickly Pear Vodka taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Western Son Prickly Pear Vodka and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

You won't impress the bartender by ordering Vodka-soda, but it's a good choice if you want to avoid unecessary sugar intake and make sure you stay hydrated when consuming alcohol.
It looks like potato chips and flavored Vodka are two things where the producers unleash their imagination. Bubble gum, fresh cut grass, pumpkin pie, marshmallow, and coconut water hardly begin to describe the many flavors of Vodka.
The average life of a $50 bill in circulation is 55 months before it is replaced due to wear.
Unlike its boozy brethren Bourbon and Scotch, Vodka can be made anywhere in the world. But it’s Eastern Europe that gets the credit for its birth. Just don’t ask Russia and Poland to get to the bottom of it—both argue that they masterminded the Spirit first.
Seems that Vodka is a lightweight—quite literally. This clear Spirit actually weighs less than water. One liter of water weighs 1,000 grams, while the same amount of Vodka only clocks in at 953 grams.
Vodka can be made anywhere in the world and pretty much of any ingredient that contains starch.

For a potato-based Vodka, 12kg (26.5lbs) potatoes are needed to produce a single bottle.
