— I tried this neat at first. Alone it was unique but not a favorite. Yet when mixed with some tonic water and lime this transforms into one of the best beverages I've had. My wife tells me I've finally figured out how to make a decent cocktail. Only took me five years.

Paul
Paul,
Tasted neat and on the rocks. At first, the nose was primarily juniper, but I was able to get the pecan/praline when I let it breathe a bit. Taste was primarily licourice/spicy/vanilla for me, with the cooler temp cutting down the heat. The pecan + juniper must be combining that way to my taste buds. Sweeter than I was expecting and therefore a bit disappointing, but smooth nonetheless and a new & welcome approach to gin for me. Whether I will get another bottle will depend on how it compares to Barr Hill Tomcat, which I hope to get soon.
