Waterloo Old Yaupon Gin
JORDAN,
Orange/bergamot and star anise notes. A sweeter and more syrupy finish.
Waterloo Old Yaupon Gin
Jon,
This. Is. The. Bomb! I bought it on a whim as I was shopping other gins so I wasn't expecting much. The nose is indeed terrible, but the flavor and smoothness are out of this world. The earl gray as others mentioned is certainly there and I think it brings a smoothness that I llok for in the best sippers. A definite new go-to for me!
Waterloo Old Yaupon Gin
James,
A superb gin with subtle well balanced layers. It’s got more body than most guns, but is not at all heavy. After trying on its own and in various combinations, we recommend it on its own, with a single large ice cube.
Waterloo Old Yaupon Gin
Andrew,
Strong taste of earl gray. Really harsh on the nose but a mind blowing taste.
Waterloo Antique Gin
Paul,
Tasted neat and on the rocks. At first, the nose was primarily juniper, but I was able to get the pecan/praline when I let it breathe a bit. Taste was primarily licourice/spicy/vanilla for me, with the cooler temp cutting down the heat. The pecan + juniper must be combining that way to my taste buds. Sweeter than I was expecting and therefore a bit disappointing, but smooth nonetheless and a new & welcome approach to gin for me. Whether I will get another bottle will depend on how it compares to Barr Hill Tomcat, which I hope to get soon.
