The spirit of the Canadian north, one of the most revered gins, from an unexpected place!

Canadian Gin from the most northern tip of Quebec, described as a breathtaking scene with incredible views. Visible Northern Lights and ice floes casually drifting around.

This incomparable climate gives the producers of Ungava Premium Gin a unique inhabitant by which to craft this special drink.

Made with six botanicals including crowberry, cloudberry and Labrador tea, the recipe dates back two generations. All botanicals are naturally steeped until the complex flavour and unique golden colour emerges that will take your senses on a journey not often seen in Gin.

Cocktail recipe

Signature pour:
 → 60ml (2 oz) Ungava Gin
 → 0.5 grapefruit wedge

Load grapefruit wedge, ice, then Gin in glass.
Cheers!

What does Ungava Canadian Premium Gin taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Ungava Canadian Premium Gin and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

London dry gin is not always from London. Gin does not have the same geographical restrictions as spirits such as cognac, scotch or tequila. Only a tiny handful of London dry gins are actually made in the city.

Alan
Alan,
Had some on our trip to Quebec City. Bought a bottle to bring home. Great for sipping on a cool night.

Wonderfully unique and warming.

Honestly not a big fan. The juniper is extremely overwhelming, and everything else hides under it. There is a good deal of spice to it and some very light citrus notes. TLDR: It is a very classic yet still unique and complex gin, but the over powering taste of the juniper is too much for me.

Aleksandrs,
A bit too alternative and aggressive comparing with the classic gins, unusual experience with the very string aftertaste. One timer unfortunately

Garrett,
A lovely Gin, easy drinking & very smooth. Goes down a bit too easy!

One of the more interesting gins, it has a decent spice to it. More like an unfiltered gin in its intensity, its best enjoyed neat or with ice.

Niclas,
I like the different take, on the traditional London Dry Gin. It is far spicier than what you would normally expect in a gin, but very delicious. The untraditional combination of herbs is really interesting when drunk neat, but especially when used in traditional gin cocktails. Very spicy, but also very mellow and smooth, and not having that strong of an alcoholic flavour or too dominant a flavour of juniper berries.
