Top reviews for The Tyrconnell Single Malt Irish Whiskey:

— I find this whiskey to be light, and smooth, excellent Irish whiskey

— Impulse purchase and my first Irish Whiskey. To me this was like a mellow bourbon. Tried neat first, couldn't really detect any citrus or vanilla. Next dram was with a single ice cube and that opened it up quite a bit for me. Overall a pleasure to drink.

— Honey taste shines through. Sweeter than a lot of Irish whiskeys.

Rich
Rich,
Got this bottle in close out. Never had it before. Not a big Irish whiskey guy, but I was pleasantly surprised. Sweet opening with a slightly smoky finish. I prefer the islay, so this will be a repeat purchase.

William
William,
Very nice Irish Whiskey, similar to Knappogue Castle, which is one of my favorites. Smooth and complex flavors. Perfect companion for a laid-back evening. Would definitely order again.

John
John,

Honey taste shines through. Sweeter than a lot of Irish whiskeys.

David
David,
Neither fish nor fowl. It seems this whiskey can't decide whether to be a truly smoky single malt, or a smooth blended Irish whiskey. It ends up being unremarkable in both categories. Not bad, just not remarkable.

Jonathan
Jonathan,
I find this whiskey to be light, and smooth, excellent Irish whiskey

Michael,
Really nice tasting and smooth. An upscale Jameson’s

alexey
alexey,
Rather fruity taste, pleasant finish. Smooth and delicate, hint of oak.

Adam
Adam,
I'm not normally an Irish Whiskey guy, but this is a good bottle. A subtle yet nuanced nip, but not unassuming. It has a depth that I have not had in Irish Whiskey. It is likely to get me to expand my horizons in the Irish direction.

Matt
Matt,
Not terrible, but way smokier than I care for.

Don
Don,
Standard Irish whiskey, oak, peat, a hint of whatever type of barrel they used.

Jeremy
Jeremy,
A nice smooth, sweet and unique taste for an Irish whiskey.

Gregory
Gregory,
Very smooth with a nice finish.

Josh
Josh,
Light, prominent green apple over honey malt. Slight oily texture. Very smooth for such a young spirit.
