Justin
Justin,
I'm not a big fan of the charred / clove taste. It reminds me of absinthe or licorice for some reason. Seems like a quality spirit, just hits the wrong flavor profile for me when it comes to rye. As a reference, my go to is Whistlepig, but I'd take a Bulleit, Templeton, or George Dickel over this when it comes to commonly found Ryes. Mostly I drink Ryes that are local to the midwest (MN, MI, and WI), but these are often hard to found outside of the area.

Tasted like gasoline

Ryan,
Over-powered by char, otherwise lacks complexity. Drinkable, but you can do better at this price point.

Michael
Michael,
Great taste but just too much burn. Given the flavor I have no idea why they decided to put so much burn into this.

Eric
Eric,
Ok, kinda tastes like chapstick...

Peter,
Very nice Rye. Crisp, finishes clean. Good mouth feel. Taste of spice and a little fruit. Just enough bite at the finish. I preferred it three fingers with a single small ice cube. I will buy this again.
