Tullamore Distillery recently re-opened in the village of Tullamore, where it was originally based in 1829. It was ran by Daniel E. Willaims for 30 years, and now dedicates its Tullamore D.E.W. to his name. Although visitors cannot tour the actual distillery, there is an opportunity to learn more about the brand from the visitor centre, situated in the Old Bonded Warehouse. This is a great chance to engage with the brand as it moves forward, as well as learning more about its rich history.
Tullamore D.E.W. is a triple distilled, blended Whiskey that has been aged in ex-bourbon and sherry casks. This gives it an incredible smoothness and a complexity from the blend. It has a good kick, with citrusy fruits lingering from nose to finish and a nice undertone of spice throughout. The Sherry casks also add a good dose of sweetness that serves to emphasise and intertwine with the other flavors.
The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Tullamore Dew 12 Year Old and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.
We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.
Irish Whiskey has many varieties: grain Whiskey, malted barley pot-still-distilled, and ‘pure pot-still’ (or ‘single pot still’ as it is now officially known). Then there is Poitin, one of the first Spirits ever made.
Amazing. My favorite Irish Whiskey to simply sit, sip and enjoy! Will definitely stock up on this one.
Very smooth straight!
The only Irish Wiskey worth drinking
Sweet and easy to drink. Actually won the blind taste competition.
Great sipping whiskey!
Easily one of my favorites, especially for the price.
Just plain delicious. One of my favorite Irish whiskies.
Edges out Redbreast 15 year old in my opinion
One of my favorite Irish Whiskeys so far. Very approachable.
Classic Irish, love this stuff

Excellent Irish whisky. One of the few that can maintain its distinctive smoky-smooth character when mixed with soda. Also excellent neat: Try it in a snifter and enjoy the aroma!
Irish Mules, on the rocks or with Coke, anyway I drink it Tullamore has become my favorite Irish Whiskey.
Real nice, more bite than the classic Dew. Don’t see this in the stores so another good reason to be in this club! Great price too!
Has become my favorite Irish. Just an easy drink with a nice balanced flavor.
Love it! Favorite whiskey
One of the best Irish whiskeys I've ever tasted.
This has become my fan favorite lately. I have been leaning towards Irish Whiskey lately more than my usual Jim Beam or Jim Beam Black.
Tullamore DEW has the perfect balance and flavor and has become a favorite Irish Whiskey. You don't have "The SEXTON listed which a personal favorite celebration Irish Whiskey.
My everyday Irish Whisky
Sweet, smooth, classic Irish whiskey...
Smooth, but you almost could just sit and smell it all night.
This is one of my favorite Whiskey's. I love all of the Tullamore, but this one in particular is extra smooth, with almost no burn.
Like Christmas Eve in a snifter - got notes of fruit and spiced cake.
Love it! Smooth.
Great for the price.
Definitely up there as far as Irish goes. The extra couple of years make a big difference. Not quite a Redbreast 12, but delicious non the less.
Like it. Smooth. Not to much heat. Not smoky
This should 100% be on your home bar if you want any semblance of a well stocked bar. Quintessential Irish whisky!
Not really liking this one
Smooth & rich on the tongue. As it should be. Delicious.
Smooth as a baby's arse.
Love the finish and flavor. I’ve visited the distillery in Ireland.
Tullemore Dew is my favorite whiskey of all time, very smooth, best Irish Whiskey I know of
Smoothest Whisky I’ve ever tasted. My go to sipping drink
Smooth as it gets.
Pleasing sweet, smooth, with just a nice saturating burn that is not overdone. Very enjoyable neat.
For a 12-year it is VERY smooth. Clean taste.
Okay my first 10 star, this is probably the most complex Irish Whiskey I have had to date. The nose is a pleasant sweet smell of figs, and some oak undertones with no serious burn. The initial taste is the same with some brown sugar, and something of a grain flavor (maybe bread or donut). The finish is very satisfying for a 40 ABV liquor, and is pleasant. Actually worth every penny and is going to be rotating often on my liquor cabinet.
This is good, but I prefer the non-Special Reserve. Not much of a fan of ports and wine.
Very smooth with a soft finish. This is my new favorite. Love it!
Just added this one to my bar. Have had two glasses neat. Very good.
Slightly sweet, spicy and with a bite. Was a recommendation from an Irish bar tender in NYC who told me that this was the drink that people had in Ireland and not Jameson.
Great tasting and smooth. Will get again.
It’s real smooth.
This bottle makes all my scotch fiend friends shut up.
Classic & easy
Traditional Irish Whiskey, smooth with a bit of a spice to it. Great neat.
Light vanilla and fruit, pleasant aftertaste
Said it and then shots
Was lucky enough to sample this on St. Patrick's Day 2018. Super smooth.
Great breakfast beverage with a full Irish breakfast.
there is a sweetness to this one, oh my, such beautiful and wonderful flavor.
Smooth, hint of sweetness. Pleasant and easy to drink.
I fell in love with the entire Tullamore D.E.W. line on a trip to Ireland last year. They are a must have in any home bar.
Mild sweet but a rough ending
Surprisingly good! Smooth, not too sweet.
Smooth and easy drinking.
My favorite to go “just a shot” drink. Very smooth.
Awesome taste. Very smooth and gentle. A must have in any bar.
My go-to for Irish whiskey
All "DEW" 's are very smooth and tasty. A note of peat with the oak.
2nd best on my shelf
The fucking shit
Very smooth - my favorite go to.
Sweet fruit flavor and great repeat to return to over and again
It's bold and refreshing nice to sip and relax
My daily drinker, an absolutely delicious Irish Whiskey at a very reasonable price.
Slightly spicy short finish, no depth in taste, lost of oaky aroma, sharp on the pallet
Great wee whiskey at a very reasonable cost
The best of the TD range - for now!
One of the cheaper Irish whiskeys, it tastes watery and is not very smooth.
