Go to the southernmost region of South America and you’ll be arriving to Patagonia, a region that spans Argentina and Chile. It’s completely surreal there: mountains, volcanoes, ice field, glaciers, you name it. The nature is really showing off down there and this means high-quality local ingredients galore. Träkal sources all their ingredients, including local apple and pear varietals within 100 square kilometers from their water source (naturally, also pristine). The seven native herbs and four native berries are hand-picked with the help of the local communities. For Träkal guys, using exclusively local ingredients is the only way to make an authentic Spirit.
ForTräkal Patagonia Spirit, a base Spirit is first distilled from local apples, crab-apples, and pears. Then, the native berries including maqui, murta, and sauco are added for the second distillation. For the best herbs, the Master Distiller took advice from his beloved mother and made essential oils out of tepa, laurel, mint, paramela, and camelo to be able ro use them all year round. The oils are then vapor-infused during the third distillation. Bottled at 42% ABV, this unique and distinct Spirit offers you a bold experience of Patagonia’s beautiful nature with flavors of wild herbs, flowers, fruits, and trees. Surreal.
