quite sweet and very subtle. delicate.
Love the notes of Caramel in this one!
First Japanese whiskey. Too much citrus for me. Hard to pick up the other flavors.
Nothing special here
Very subtle fairly smoky whisky with low character. It is a very easy to drink whisky however the caramel tones are hard to notice leaving some evidence of fruits. It is a ok whisky but not for the price tag
Very easy to drink, but not sure it’s worth the price.
Creamy, smooth, hints of smoky/sweet/spicy.
Did not care for this one at all. Had a weird tar taste to it.
Like the delicate apricot flavor
Can smell caramel. Very smoky taste and I can barely taste the fruits. It does go down smooth.
Light and smooth followed by a slight zest to the back of the throat
Awful, just awful.
Good caramel notes
Received in a blended whisky tasting box. Other two were excellent. This was undrinkable. Neither of us finished and we don't have the same palate. Tasted like fake peat. Awful.
citrus zest -- a blend of orange and lemon. also notes of plums with hint of cinnamon and smokey peat finish.
almost watery though -- not the "bold" whiskey Im used to but overall enjoyable
Not bad smooth.. good orange and smoke taste then caramel flavor on the finish,
Smooth and smoky. Nice notes, but not complex. A bit sweet, and a nice sipper. Can’t imagine what you’d mix this with.
defined peat taste. really good and smooth
Very sweet and smooth.
It’s a sturdy whiskey nothing that’s going to knock your socks off. But their are some nice flavors to pick up but it is rather smooth going down. All in all not a bad dram.
really good. Taste orange, lemon, caramel and pet. very easy to drink. Enjoyed it neat
oops, that's peat
Very smooth. Has a great aftertaste.
Very smooth with a peety finish
Smooth and a little sweet. Had it neat and it was an easy drinker
Not impressed. Didn't pick up any of the smoky, other flavors in the flavor spiral hard to pick up. Tried before i looked and after, same thing. Glad this was in the quarterly sample, would've been a let down. Didn't taste bad and was very smooth though.
Didn’t make an impression
Not a big fan, almost a hint of liquorice
Smoky and smooth !
Smoothe with a sweet finish
Very surprised how smooth this is. Very nice finish and nice for someone just getting into Japanese Whisky. I’ll be purchasing this one for sure.
Very mild by my taste. Smooth drinking but I need a little more excitement from my scotch.
Smooth and nice to sip on.
Easy sell, received in a sampler, now I going to by a bottle. Smooth, easy to drink...it’s on the lighter side
Can you say Plum!!
Too Smokey. Not my favorite. Too much citrus.
Very smooth and easy to drink
Light. Similar to Suntory. Slightly smoky. Carmel hints. Slight tingle on the back of the tongue.
The liquor was smooth in the class. The aroma is strong alcohol and smelt like I didn't want to try it. However, the flavor was a smooth caramel that left no aftertaste what soever. Overpriced, but would never turn down a glass!
The Togouchi is a must try
I love the complexity of this one. It has a very smooth finish with a hint of spicy.
Not bad, but to much caramel
Somewhat of a smooth aftertaste
Prominent caramel & smoky flavor - notes of plum & citrus. Pretty smooth and I’d gladly have a glass from someone else’s collection - but not the bottle I’ll add to my own.
It is very tasty, but I suppose my palette is not refined enough. Seems dry, not many sweet notes.
Fresh citrus zest with a hint of cinnamon on the the nose. Appearance is a hint of color. Smooth caramel taste with hints of orange and plum. No after bite. Has a nice lingering flavor on the palate. Let it sit a bit to open it up. A great blend to add to the collection. This is a wonderful tasting whisky which could be enjoyed daily.
Subtle fruit throughout. The caramel flavor is strong, which I like. Surprisingly clear, and with a spiciness that excites.
