Lemony notes might be too much for some but others will love it. A great summer time dram!

A summer time dram.

Tobermory distillery is situated on the Scottish island of Mull, in the village of Tobermory. The distillery, formerly known as Ledaig, is the only distillery on the island. It was founded in 1798 by John Sinclair and has changed hands several times, having undergone a number of periods of closure.

These days the brand name Tobermory is used for all their  unpeated malt Whisky, while the (lightly) peated Whisky is sold as Ledaig.

Tobermory 10 year old has evolved with a new look and taste, reinforcing the premium quality and heritage of the brand. By not chillfiltering the Whisky, and with a strength of 46.3%, you can appreciate the full depth of flavors, aromas and character of this fine malt Whisky. It is an ideal strength to dilute to your own taste. Used to be a joke in the Whisky world, but not anymore!

David
David,
Umm well, I think there's a little cut grass in it. Super light with almost no mouth feel. Seems a bit medicinal and then nothing really there for me.

Andrej,
Excellent price performance!

guest,
Excellent islands. If you are not a huge peat fan this has very light profile.

guest,
Sweet and smooth with a hint of peat, the green apple and chocolate-like taste is a welcome surprise.

guest,
I liked it a lot for such a standard and young bottle.
