Member Reviews and Ratings of Tincup American Whiskey
Christopher,
Like it. Sweet taste. Goes down smooth
Luther,
Very smooth but tastes a little watered down. Could use a little stronger batch and be perfect.
Michael,
Great daily drink. Nice taste for the price point.
Joe,
Not shabby for $30. More watered down, jack type taste
Josh,
A good american whiskey, crisp and flavorful.
Alexander,
Smooth drinking great flavor.
Michiel,
Clearly American. Fresh oak. Smell is rather neutral. There is some spice, a hint of citrus and some herbs. Nice American whisky.
Daniel,
One of U.S. whiskey I use to make a variety of mixed drinks.
Joshua,
Great daily drinker
Roy,
I'm not big on Bourbon, but this is enjoyable. You can pick out the malt coming and going. Plenty flavours to look for. Pleased I bought this.
Ryan,
Newest love
Liam,
Not complex or interesting...very meh. Numbs the tongue immediately. Sweet and dry. Dirty socks? Not great with Coke either I found out!
Ira,
I was looking for something new to try and saw this at ABC Fine Wine for $16.99 for 375ml. For that price, who can go wrong? This is a simple but lovely whiskey. Loads of cinnamon and brown sugar and a nice long finish.
Solid everyday on the budget sipper. Great in cocktails. Light vanilla notes, light caramel, medium burn finish.
Laura,
Very good to share
Skip,
Such a great bottle for every day sipping - it's the perfect price point for something that is very competitive with far more expensive whiskeys.
Zac,
This is my go to budget whiskey, spicy and a great supper or mixer, I never go on a camping trip without a bottle.
Shannon,
Easy to drink and enjoy.
Daniel,
I'm a new whiskey drinker and of all that I've tried this is so far not the greatest. To me it seems to lack depth of flavour. It is super smooth and has some spiciness on the palette. It would probably be a good mixer for a cocktail
guest,
Good for mixing. A bit too spicy and nutty for sipping neat. A splash of water took a bit of the edge off.
Mary,
Smells very sweet on the nose, but has a delightful spicy sweetness on the palate. An easy daily sipper and my favorite so far.
Cameron,
Fairly new to the spirits game, but really like tin cup. One of my favorites currently
Michael,
This is a staple in my bar. Great for mixing or drinking on the rocks.
Chris,
Pretty good. Not overly flavorful, but smooth
Niels,
Definitely a go to, nice sipper.
Blake,
A buddy and I both agreed this was some rough whiskey. High rye profile, but not in a desirable sense. After a glass I recommended he use it for cleaning sap off his car rather than drinking with friends.
Daniel,
A little rough for me.
Steve,
Very smooth and easy to drink
Justin,
Smooth with a caramel finish, took me by surprise and has been my favourite tipple for a while!
Robert,
Smooth and easygoing
guest,
Great value for a solid product.
guest,
This is my go to for mixing
Jeff,
One of my favorites for mixers. Simple and clean. Spent a week on a lake with Tin Cup and peach juice. Perfect.
Christopher,
Good for the price. Great for mixing.
guest,
Good sipper.
Kevin,
Good mixing whiskey. Not the smoothest
David,
a smooth whiskey that has good flavor. Its a great midrange whiskey for every day drinking
Mike,
A good blend, great for a cold day.
Isaac,
Good tasting, however I wasn’t amazed with flavor. Had kind of a watered down taste to me, but again for the price it’s worth it. (Even comes with a tin shot glass)
