THOMAS ADAMS

Distillery
Founded in 1953
Samuel Bronfman acquired United Distillers Ltd in 1953, He quickly renamed the facility to the Thomas Adams Distillery in honor of a distilling hero he looked up to. Thomas Adams Whiskies were rarely found outside of Canada.

Every once in a while a production bottle from the mid-century pops up at Whisky auctions. This distillery is currently closed, and its ownership details are not known to us at this time.

There is a business registration for a Thomas Adams Distillers in the financial district of Toronto, but we are currently unable to determine if it is related or even still in operation.

There is also mention of the Thomas Adams Distillery in a timeline of the Seagrams Company. But again, very few details are available.
