Lovely deep colour and smooth on the palate with a subtle vanilla|caramel taste that lingers ever so gently. The bottle is disappearing quickly and I will definitely be getting another.
Too bitter, long lasting taste. It’s ok
very impressed considering the cost.
raspberry jam on the nose. Palate you get clove and chocolate with a cocoa and spicy finish.
Really love it
Too smooth. In decanter 3 days if that. Worryingly easy to drink...
Found this to be very smooth and a pleasure to drink. Not for the peat lover maybe but a really nice whisky that I’d happily order again.
Nice deep flavour on the pallet. Hints of woodyness and smoke in the aftertaste.. There is a sweetness to it too. Keeps it kinda smooth. Perhaps some caramel in it. Definatly some caramel in the smell
Loving this one!
Very easy to drink. Smooth like an Irish, sweetness of sherry, and a little kick at the end. I think this bottle will be one of the first to finish in my current collection
Reminds me of highland park 12. Very moorish dram, sherry notes with a hint of smoke. Tastes all the better as part of my flavia quarterly renewal!
Get the sherry and more sherry with vanilla and cinnamon burn. Slight smoke and pepper
Caramel-like notes on the palate and a peppery finish that is not overpowering. A tasty dram which I would order again.
It is an outstanding, complex, Single Malt Scotch Whisky that has an earthy birth; while a complex life leads to an spicy death of medium length with notes of black currant, smoke, sherry, pepper & chocolate.
Smooth but tame taste
Nice and easy
Too spicy for me
A lovely single malt.
Nose: Light, with a twist of honey.
Mouth: full and fresh with tones off apple and pear
Finish: Long, remninds me off summer trees and flowers
Buttery and smooth, with a hint of smoke on the finish.
Light, smooth after taste, easy drinking
Smooth, easy and overall very solid single malt. Nice smoky after taste.
Nose is slightly boozy, light caramel, butterscotch, toffee. Taste is zesty, a little fruity, warm and smooth.
Smooth. Least smoky scotch I’ve tried. Taste the chocolate
Smooth taste of Dark cherry, vanilla and chocolate. Short taste of Pepper. Very good!
Notes of vanilla. Slightly dry. Easy drinking but not terribly special.
Very smooth. Easy drinking. Good for a beginner. Honey, caramel, pepper.
Very good. Definitely good for a beginner. Pleasant honey/caramel with vanilla finish.
Cinnamon on the nose with a spice flavor. I read one reviewer who wrote indistinct taste and that is also what I got for most of it. A little smoke on the back end. Nothing special.
It is a sherry cask matured and quite dry. Decent dram but you can find better
This was a solid little scotch. I found it pleasantly smooth for a 10 year. Obviously not as refined as some older bottles but depending on price point would definitely be welcome in my home bar. Very smooth with a hint of spice that comes on after a few seconds.
Long legs, picked up aromas of cinnamon and chocolate, indistinct flavors, medium finish
Easy drinking. Honey/caramel nose. Really good drink.
Very smooth. Sweet. Complex almost. Well balanced. Big fan. Good for beginners.
A good Scotch, smooth, gentle, but neither outstanding nor gripping. Very good for an occasional sip.
Extremely sweet on the nose. Smells much sweeter than it tastes. Pleasant, easy, balanced whisky. Just a hint of smokiness.
One of the best Whiskeys I have tried. Came across it in Scotland when on a visit there. I would recommend it to anyone. Give it a try.
