Talisker 18 Year Old
Ryan,
Haven't tried too many scotches, tend to be a Spey/Highland fan. I've tried some Islays and they're not my favorite. I feel like this is a great in betweener. Brings the perfect amount of smoke on the finish. Sweet peaty nose with nothing overpowering; all blends well together. It's probably my favorite scotch at the moment, but I only got a dram or two as it was a gift for someone else. It's out of my regular price range to keep this one stocked. Definitely something I'd treat myself with eventually though.

Toru,
Like a lot!
Talisker 10 Year Old
Sean,
Very smooth, a little smoke and peat - this is great
Talisker 10 Year Old
Roberto,
My always-available, favorite Scotch whisky
Talisker 30 Year Old
Michael,
I enjoy the medium peaty taste and mild after taste.
Talisker Skye
Thomas,
Just oakey/smokey taste but rather strong alcohol flavor with no subtility
Talisker Port Ruighe
Benjamin,
Just a scotch beginner, this one is too Smokey for me and I can’t taste any additional flavours or smells. Wouldn’t buy it.
Talisker Storm
Ats,
An absolute hit of a NAS - big fan of the smoke and salty sea breeze. As a man who's carried the sea in my heart my whole life, this is one of my go-to bottles whenever I find myself tied to the dry land and missing the ocean. Of course it's good on its own as well, without the nostalgia. There will always be a bottle of it in my bar.

Hunter,
Peat. That is essentially the sole note here. Great as a display of peat in scotch, but nothing further than that. Great for home blending and a staple for expressing the basic flavor of scotch.

Dennis,
Doubtless you've heard of the grand Talkisker. You've read all about the nose and taste. I'm only here to tell you that you will not find a better whisky neat, on-the-rocks or in a hot toddie. It's truly perfect.

Scott,
Nose is a beach campfire, like seaweed drying over a fire. The palette is complex, I don't get any of the apple notes I've heard of. Black pepper, barrel spice, and smoke are the predominant notes for me. The finish is peaty but leans towards a subtle sweetness.
Talisker 10 Year Old
Jack,
Very smooth smoky flavor.
Talisker Storm
Stephen,
Strong apple on the nose. Brine on the finish
Talisker 10 Year Old
Jacopo,
Good but too much of a straight shooter. For a similar price lagavulin 16 and ardbeg 10 are definitely a better value
Talisker Port Ruighe
James,
I’m just starting to like strongly Smokey/peated whiskys and really enjoyed this. Lots of smoke and peat, but very well balanced by the deep fruit of the port. Plenty of sweetness to compliment and baking/pastry flavors and spices come through for me

Seth,
Excellent scotch - great for sipping. Lots of character. Well balanced.

guest,
Der Whisky hält, was das Konzept verspricht! Maritime Nase, pfeffriger & glühender Gaumen. Jedoch gar nicht so torfig und rauchig wie erwartet - gut trinkbar! 10/20 - Wien; Tastillery Box „The Whisky Adventure“

Robert,
This is my go to Scotch since the early '90s. Very consistent through all those years. Hard to beat the price.
Talisker 10 Year Old
Bob,
Talisker 10yr is always a top-3 in my list; love it
Talisker 10 Year Old
Oliver,
A good introduction to whisky from the west coast of Scotland, not as aggressive as laphroaig for example
Talisker 57° North
Oliver,
Love this whisky, it’s like a volcanic eruption being extinguished by a tidal wave

Maarten,
As a non peat lover this is a peated whisky i can still really enjoy, more smoke on the nose then on the palette. Bright in taste, fresh green apple. Short to medium but pleasant finish.
Talisker Storm
Alex,
Sets the standard for Islay Scotches! The smoke & pepper reign supreme but the fruity notes on the finish give it just enough softness on the tail end not to turn away more sensitive palates.

Guy,
Oh Talisker 10, my old friend. This is a great bottle by itself and with regard to price. The smoke balances well with the pepper and dried fruit notes. The best balanced island scotch I have on the shelf. You will not be disappointed unless you don't like smoke, then move along please.
Talisker Storm
COLIN,
Man, I love this stuff! The sea. The smoke. The bogginess. All of it. Comes on strong then all the nice subtle fruity scotch notes start kicking in. You can't go wrong with Talisker and this one doesn't disappoint.

Robert,
LOVE this - would give it 10 but I am still exploring and learning what I like. I think the flavor profile is way off though; this is so well-balanced between the smoke/peat (still figuring out that distinction) and the caramel/apple. I can see this being a mainstay.
Talisker Storm
Jan,
Probably the best commercial whisky. Smooth and a bit of spice in there.
Talisker Port Ruighe
Gerald,
The port flavor balances the smokiness.
Talisker Storm
Christopher,
Brine, lighter smoke reminiscent of tobacco, and an undercurrent of sweetness make for a great single malt that's approachable and still fairly deep.
Talisker 10 Year Old
Laura,
Slight smoke, sweet almost marshmallow finish
Talisker 10 Year Old
Niko,
Quality whisky but too spicy
Talisker Storm
Darragh,
I really loved this. I'm not generally a fan of peated whiskys but this is just the right dose of peaty: Flavoursome but not overpowering.
Talisker 10 Year Old
Edwin,
This took a few years before i finished it. Twas too peaty for my tastes originally, either my tastes changed or it mellowed over the years as i enjoyed my last few drams
Talisker Port Ruighe
Shane,
For a smoky scotch- I don’t mind this one. I don’t think I’d buy a bottle but I’m glad I picked it.
Talisker 10 Year Old
Chris,
Salty bacon and apples
Talisker Storm
Matt,
Very nice More smoky than Talisker Skye whilst avoiding phenols in the taste. Tad too expensive for what you get though.
Talisker Port Ruighe
Esperanza,
Too Smokey for my taste
Talisker 10 Year Old
Collin,
Very complex. Deep meaty peat smoke paired with vibrant fruit tones.
Talisker Port Ruighe
Michael,
Really enjoyed this, just wish I could buy a bottle through this membership.
Talisker Storm
John,
Taught my wife to like scotch (I not sure thats a good thing)!
Talisker Storm
Ewan,
Smoked sea salt and caramel chocolate on the nose. The flavor is spice forward with a hint of smoky sweetness like grilled fruit. Light on the tongue and finishes with a peppery taste.
Talisker 10 Year Old
Diane,
One of my favorites, always like to have this on hand. I like the smoke and flavor.
Talisker 10 Year Old
Tom,
My favorite. Just a terrific, balanced and wonderful Scotch!
Talisker Port Ruighe
Chris,
Loved the smoky nose and the smoother than expected taste, but still smoky. My favorite of the three in the taste set.
Talisker 18 Year Old
Aaron,
Holy mother...what a dram! Salt, smoke (but not too much), dark fruit, pepper, leather, caramel....all in beautiful, beautiful complex harmony. Brilliant.
Talisker 10 Year Old
Jack,
Talisker is my favorite all around any occasion whiskey at the moment. Peaty but not too peaty, smooth, no unpleasant aftertaste. Just a great sip.
Talisker 10 Year Old
Joseph,
Still not a fan of the peat.
Talisker 10 Year Old
Tai,
Nice and smooth, bit peaty after taste. Daily drinker
Talisker Storm
Simon,
The salty smoke is just too prominent in this one. Leaves a harsh aftertaste not too dissimilar from that of a cigarette.
Talisker Port Ruighe
Gregory,
Great sipper with nice smoke and some sweetness
