Character Goatson

A fine French bitter, based on a time-honored recipe.

Ah, the Belle Epoque and its café culture. Besides all the artistic and cultural developments that period has given the world, they also knew a thing or two about good booze. French aperitifs were one of the most popular Spirits in Parisian cafés of the day and Suze was one of them. Since 1889, Suze has been perfecting the art of combining gentian with other botanicals and creating a range of aromatic Bitters. In 1965, the brand became a part of the one-and-only Pernod Ricard and today’s thriving cocktail scene says these fine sippers are definitely back.

Suze Liqueur De Gentiane is a luminously yellow and delicately Bitter with citrus undertones. Based on the original recipe of gentian root plants from the French mountains, this is the essence of Suze Aperitifs. At a decent 30% ABV, this aromatic, rich, and powerful bitter is ideal for cocktail season or Aperitivo o’clock. And it comes in a hand-crafted glass bottle that was created by Q de Bouteille. Magnifique.
