― Super New World RYE Enjoyable sipper, perhaps missing you usual "in-your-face" spicyness but therefor more balanced. Good for RyeBalls and Manhattans. It's a must have for your homebar, good conversation piece aswell. German Rye has lots of history and stories to tell

― A little sweet, but warmingly spicy kind of. I might need to buy a whole bottle.

― My first atste of rye. On the nose it actaully reminds me of a bourbon, sweet caramel and vanilla with a touch of baking spice. On the pallate it is not so much caramel as vanilla buttercream icing, then lots of peppery spice and finally a big hit of seeds and rye bread that lingers into the finish. Kind of makes me wonder what a rye cake would taste like, either that or buttering rye bread with icing.
