A bright and powerful new Cask Strength Blended Rye Whiskey from a storied, independent maker.

Joe Beatrice founded Barrell Craft Spirits in 2013, and bottled his first Spirits in 2014. Barrell Bourbon is now famous for sourcing and bottling some of the best Bourbon and Rye Whiskies and American drink them up as fast as they are released. Barrell Craft Spirits launched a new brand of Whiskies โ€” Stellum Spirits in 2021 to create a new, modern style of Whiskey aiming to be your premium daily dram with a consistent flavor profile.

Stellum Rye is a powerhouse Whiskey. It is a blend of premium Rye Spirits with a 95% Indian Rye as its foundation. To this they add some higher barley Rye and a few select barrels of Kentucky and Tennessee Rye to strike a perfectly-balanced profile. But hold on to your shot glasses... this dram is delivered in a classic Wine bottle, but sports a cask-strength ABV of 58.12%. And we think that Joe Beatrice has another winner on his hands.

Smartass Corner:
The word "stellum" is rooted in the Latin word for "star" and can be used to refer to either a celestial grouping of planets and stars or an individual who is strongly celebrated in their field of endeavor.

Nose / Aroma / Smell
A melange of fruit aromas arrive first — peaches, apricot, stewed pear, apple, and a hint of marmalade — followed by baking spices and anise.

Flavor / Taste / Palate
Taken neat the palate opens strongly with tropical spices and bright notes of Meyer lemon zest and more marmalade with green apple, oak, and vanilla following.

The finish is long, warm, spicy, and memorable.
