Don’t settle for less than for the best of the Midwest.

Two buddies, Jeff and Bob, met on a camping trip and just couldn't stop discussing their mutual appreciation for the finer things in life (namely Spirits). So, they decided to embark on a joint venture in winemaking. Eventually, they graduated to the more refined art of Brandy and founded their own independent distillery, Star Union Spirits. Nestled in the historic Westclox factory in Peru, Illinois, their small-batch distillery embodies the Midwestern can-do Spirit while revitalizing the art of craft spirits one sip at a time. Their distillery is open to the public, offering visitors the opportunity to sample their hand-crafted spirits, take a tour, and peruse a museum dedicated to the history behind their name. They pay attention to the finer details, ensuring that every aspect of their Spirits, from the raw materials to the ornate labels, is as unique as a snowflake.

Star Union Spirits Vodka is the cream of the Midwestern corn crop! Distilled four times using water sourced from local limestone wells, this one is a tasty smooth kicker that you can enjoy neat, but its versatility allows it to shine as a perfect base for any of your Vodka-forward cocktails. Try it in a Screwdriver Classic, a Star Union Mule, a Summer Carnival, or even in Star Union's favorite cocktail, the Pickles and 'Cicles (a frozen shot with a baby dill pickle). With a light vanilla essence and an 82-proof kick, this creamy and clean Spirit won’t leave you disappointed.

Vodka can be made anywhere in the world and pretty much of any ingredient that contains starch.

For a potato-based Vodka, 12kg (26.5lbs) potatoes are needed to produce a single bottle.
Seems that Vodka is a lightweight—quite literally. This clear Spirit actually weighs less than water. One liter of water weighs 1,000 grams, while the same amount of Vodka only clocks in at 953 grams.
Unlike its boozy brethren Bourbon and Scotch, Vodka can be made anywhere in the world. But it’s Eastern Europe that gets the credit for its birth. Just don’t ask Russia and Poland to get to the bottom of it—both argue that they masterminded the Spirit first.
You won't impress the bartender by ordering Vodka-soda, but it's a good choice if you want to avoid unecessary sugar intake and make sure you stay hydrated when consuming alcohol.
The average life of a $50 bill in circulation is 55 months before it is replaced due to wear.
It looks like potato chips and flavored Vodka are two things where the producers unleash their imagination. Bubble gum, fresh cut grass, pumpkin pie, marshmallow, and coconut water hardly begin to describe the many flavors of Vodka.
