Two buddies, Jeff and Bob, met on a camping trip and just couldn't stop discussing their mutual appreciation for the finer things in life (namely Spirits). So, they decided to embark on a joint venture in winemaking. Eventually, they graduated to the more refined art of Brandy and founded their own independent distillery, Star Union Spirits. Nestled in the historic Westclox factory in Peru, Illinois, their small-batch distillery embodies the Midwestern can-do Spirit while revitalizing the art of craft spirits one sip at a time. Their distillery is open to the public, offering visitors the opportunity to sample their hand-crafted spirits, take a tour, and peruse a museum dedicated to the history behind their name. They pay attention to the finer details, ensuring that every aspect of their Spirits, from the raw materials to the ornate labels, is as unique as a snowflake.

Their Rested Agave Spirit is a top-shelf elixir, crafted in small batches using only the best Blue Weber Agave nectar sourced straight from the northern hills of Guadalajara, Mexico. But the real sorcery occurs when the nectar is fermented to perfection, distilled in Plainfield, Illinois, and allowed to mature for a minimum of 14 months in American charred oak barrels. This aging process infuses the spirit with rich oak and vanilla notes, lifting up those delicate floral notes of the agave flower to new heights. And let's be real — that Gold Medal at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition? Just icing on the cake.
