The rich history and tradition of making Amaro, an Italian herbal Liqueur that’s usually an after-dinner digestif, began in the region of Piedmonte in Italy with Torino at the heart of it. And this gorgeous city at the foothills of the Alps is also where Stambecco is distilled at Torino Distillati. The company is owned by the Vergnano family. The family says that in the rare moments when they’re not distilling, they’re probably up in the mountains. What a life, eh
Stambecco Maraschino Cherry Amaro is infused with Maraschino cherries and 30 botanicals. The long list includes sweet and bitter oranges, coriander seeds, marjoram, oregano, artemisia blend, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Weighing in at 35% ABV, this is a perfectly balanced, smooth, fruity, and rounded Amaro. Savor it on the rocks, in a shot, or mix it in your favorite cocktail.
