Good news: You've got impeccable taste in liquor. The not-as-good news? It means it's currently out of stock. Add this bad boy to your wish list and we'll let you know if it comes our way.
A tasty Rye-Tequila-Gin-ish Gin with superior texture and a hint of Wine… honest.

God bless St. George Spirits. Founded in Alameda, California, by Jorg Rupf back in 1982 as an Eau de Vie distillery, they were one of the pioneers of the craft spirits revolution. When St. George needed to expand in 2004, they purchased an old hangar at the defunct Alameda Naval Air Station — which is how Hangar One Vodka got its name. Later they sold off that brand so they could focus on their craft ranges, which now includes no less than 15 tasty concoctions, including Gin, Eau de Vies, Rum, Whiskey, and even Absinthe.

So, what the heck is St. George Spirits Dry Rye Reposado Gin anyway? The name has words from the worlds of Whiskey, Gin, and Tequila… so what gives?

St. George makes three primary Gins, including their “Dry Rye Gin” which, as you might guess, is a Gin distilled from 100% rye grain. It is richer and spicier than most Gins and has a superior thick mouth-feel. It's infused with the classic Gin botanicals - great stuff, but the folks at St. George decided to tinker with it a bit more. They take that great Dry Rye Gin and rest it for over a year (this is where the reposado part comes in) in American and French oak Wine casks. It emerges a little stronger at 49.5% ABV with a lovely copper hue with a bit of fruitiness and a touch of tannin.

My only 10 rating. Adventurous sipping combination of flavor. A big hit with multiple groups that are ordinarily compartmentalized.
