Climb on the peaks of flavor with this mountain-inspired Gin.

Spirits from the Alps is the new buzz-worthy brand from Unterthurner distillery in sunny South Tyrol, Italy. Founded by Ignaz Unterthurner, a Moonshine-producing stepson of a farmer's family, and Luise Zipperle, his commercially savvy wife, in the post-WWII era, the duo wanted to capture and refine the very essence of the fruits that ripen in the region. Even in the face of political uncertainty, Ignaz and Luise wowed officials with their correctness, diligence, and irresistible South Tyrolean fare. Today, the distillery continues to thrive, blending the ancient ambiance of the Priami estate with the demands of modern-day gourmets.

This is not your average Gin. Sure, the juniper berries, iris flower roots, and lemon are all accounted for. But what sets this mountain-inspired drink apart is the addition of juicy raspberries and ice-cold water from the south Tyrolean Dolomites โ€” a combo that gives the liquid a true Alpine soul. The botanicals are plucked straight from the mountains, capturing the essence of the regional fruits, berries, herbs, and spices. One sniff and you'll get a whiff of lemon and flowers, but it's the raspberries and juniper berries that will really send you away on a journey to the peaks (take that as you will).
