Jared
Jared,
Light yes, but hits the oak and Smokey notes early and then subtle warm finish. I don’t hate it, but very simple palate. I will use it to introduce scotch to a whiskey drinker.

Sven
Sven,
How different taste is. I‘m a vanilla fan, and had some Whiskeys before, which are expected to taste vanilla. In this case it tastes vanilla/ honey and at the end apple is coming up. The first glass I drank pure, and it was good. The second I put some water in, Less then a teespoon. And that brought the taste up to a higher level. For my likings ist one of the best single malt, I ever tried. But everyone will judge it in another way. By the way: Thanks to Jason for helping to get it, even it was sold out. Done your job very patient and helpful. Cheers

Sweet and mellow!

Anthony
Anthony,
The aromas are much more promising than the flavor. Very easy to drink due to a very light flavor at the start, going right into a bitter burn.

Kurt
Kurt,
I like this. I like the smells and the flavors. The burn isnt over powering

Philip
Philip,
First let me say, it is not the greatest scotch on the market. For the price, however, it is pretty okay. It is sweet, fruity and I do feel it is more smoky than it's flavor profile suggests with notes of vanilla. However the burn was more than I expected, almost unwelcomed.. If you want a cheaper scotch, this is acceptable, but definitely not great. I had higher hopes for it.
Philip
Philip,
I think I may have been to harsh on this. As time has progressed, this cheaper scotch has caught me off guard and I find myself liking it more...So, add another star for enjoyment...
