Bryan
Bryan,
One of the worst bourbons I’ve ever had. The nose smelled like a combination of old box wine and the taste was nothing but medicinal Flinstone vitamins. This juiced was sourced from Tennessee, most likely coming from Dickel. If you’re not a fan of Dickel, stay away from this one.

Kevin
Kevin,
I love it. Simply go buy a bottle and enjoy it. I thought it was smooth, great flavor. Now I did mix it with Coke. I have plans to try it on the rocks.

Aaron
Aaron,
Peanuts peanuts and more peanuts. It’s the only taste I get. Was very disappointed in this after reading good reviews

Timothy
Timothy,
Our group did like this one at all. We tried it straight and as a mix drink and it was to harsh. The Jefferson is a much smoother Bourbon.

Delicious. I will definitely be keeping this on hand. And will be travertine WV for a tour...

It was so good, so smooth and tasty, one of my friends walked off with the bottle!

Jason
Jason,
Rich aroma of brown sugar & grandma's oatmeal. Spice arrives just before the rich corn & chestnut warmth. Alcohol varies from batch to batch but it's not overpowering.

Paul
Paul,
Heavy on the Doughy side. Even the nose smells like your inside a bread factory. Not what I was expecting based off the flavor profile and other Smooth Ambler offerings I have. Hoping a little air and age brings out something in this bottle.

Mark
Mark,
The beauty of a single barrel Bourbon is that all of us can try this wonderful ambler and have varying degrees of the same shared experience. My batch is 13639, bottled by that stallion of a human, James, and worth every penny. I see its sold out right now. I see that because I was vigorously trying to buy another couple. Get this if you can and I hope you find the same smooth, complex, and subtle ambler that I did.

Jared
Jared,
Not sure if the flavor notes and spiral are from a different barrel, but they do not match up AT ALL to the bottle i received. My bottle has an OVERWHELMING cereal note, that basically drowns out everything else. And not even good cereal, it is almost exactly like Lucky Charms, if you were to take out all of the marshmallows. In other words, incredibly bland cereal note that is front and center. I tried another glass the next day, not really much different. There are SOME other notes hiding behind the cereal, so I will go back in a few days and see if I can tease anymore of them out or at least slightly more forward. I probably wouldn't pay anymore than 40 (50 on a generous day) for this if I could go back.
