Tequila goes Whisky.
Sierra Milenario Tequila is produced by Destilerías Sierra Unidas in Jalisco, Mexico. The distillery claims it doesn't use any machinery to harvest the piñas from the Agave plants and they uncommonly age some of their Tequilas out in the open, to expose it to as much air as possible - which is quite contrary to the warehousing philosophies of most distilleries.
Sierra Milenario Extra Añejo Tequila is double distilled and aged for 3 years in Durmast oak barrels (European oak). It is made from 100% Blue Agave and is bottled at 41,5%, an uncommon thing for Tequila.
