Top reviews for The Shinobu Pure Malt Japanese Whisky:

― Ww

― Harsh whisky , needs time brings out some pleasant flavors , agreed 50usd a little steep

― I agree that this is a confusing dram. If it wasn't for the 'Pure Malt' name, I would be certain that there was some grain in it. Both sweet and harsh, and little mizunara to speak of (especially when compared to the superb Kaiyo). However a little time and air softens it enormously, and opens up some pleasant flavours.
