Sazerac Facility Montreal

Sazerac Facility Montreal is — as the name would imply — the main distillery for Liquor conglomerate Sazerac in Montreal, Canada. The facility was built as the Corby Distillery for Corby Distillers Limited — once a leading producer in Canada.

Corby was divested in 2010/2011, and Sazerac absorbed the distillery and certain brands (most of the rest to Hiram Walker & Sons and Pernod Ricard). There is still a Corby Spirit and Wine company whose stock is public in Canada, but Pernod Ricard owns 46% of the remaining company as well.

The facility produces seventeen of the previous Corby brands, including De Kuyper Geneva Gin, De Kuyper Peachtree Schnapps, Red Tassel Vodka, and Silk Tassel Canadian Whisky, among others. In addition, Sazerac has moved production of other existing brands in their portfolio to this location.
