JOSEPH
JOSEPH,
I didn't like this as much as the Bacardi 10 year Gran Reserva, and it doesn't come close to the Dos Maderas 5+3.

Stuart

Slightly sweet (not too sweet), lovely finish and not too overpowering

Burr,
This is rum in particular, has a complex and sophisticated flavor profile. Venezuelan rums specifically have a unique flavor and depth that I think most avoid based on geography. If you love rum I urge you to explore Venezualan rums, you won’t be disappointed. This is a flavor avenue that is rich and an enexpcted departure from Caribbean rums that are the social standard. B

Nice chocolate flavor, good balance combination of sweet and bitterness...

Great rum. Called a "criado" at the Santa Teresa Hacienda. Half of the barrel is 100 year old rum and the other half is freshly made rum. The two substances are left together for 35 years (circa) until they mesh together for optimum taste.

Danny,
My favorite rum to sip. It’s the Goldilocks, not too sweet, not too dry. If you don’t like this, rum isn’t for you.

Smooth and warm. Great neat or rocks. No mixers needed. Initial taste is smoky, then hints of chocolate and tobacco. Finishes on caramel. Very good drink.

Delicious and smooth.

Cailin
Cailin,
Not too sweet. I can taste the smoky flavor as well as a tinge of bitterness of the 'dark chocolate' flavor in the flavor profile. Additionally, I can taste a bit of the caramel, and it has some vanilla on the nose. Best rum that I've tried so far!

Daniel
