Good news: You've got impeccable taste in liquor. The not-as-good news? It means it's currently out of stock. Add this bad boy to your wish list and we'll let you know if it comes our way.
Ho, ho, ho, oh, oH, C2-H5-OH!

It’s been an amazing year for Flaviar. So many wonderful things happened to us – first private beta and public launch, then packaging and sending off the first packs and (especially) enjoying watching how the Flaviar virus was spreading across Europe and beyond.

That’s why Uncle Flaviar got a little emotional and came up with a little christmassy “Best of 2012” idea that will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

We received quite a lot requests from our subscribers, who wanted to taste some brands from the previous packs. At that time we also started asking ourselves which drinks actually marked this Flaviar year the most. Our approach was fairly scientific, we ran our statistical bug through all Flaviar Bars, through our databases and Social media sites and ended up with a list of 5 premium spirits, worth highlighting once again.

Ta-dah, and here they are:
- Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin
- Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban Whisky
- Woodford Reserve Kentucky Bourbon
- Santis Cask Strength Peated Whisky
- Tres Hombres 2012 Rum

Best from previous Trivia & SmartAss Corners (one for each drink in the pack):

1) Some say the original and only real Martini consists of Gin, vermouth & olives, period! But Churchill went even further; here is his famous Churchill's Martini Recipe: Shake gin in a cocktail shaker with cracked ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and look at the vermouth bottle on the other side of the room. Garnish with olive.

2) Simplified, Whisky is basically a beer without the hops that has been distilled two or three times.

3) Got milk? Farmers often pick up grain waste from whisky distilleries and give this nutrient-rich feed to their livestock. The feed helps the cows produce more milk.

4) It is presidential. Bourbon was designated "The Official Spirit of America" by an Act of Congress signed by President Lyndon Baines Johnson.

5) Rum used to be accepted as form of currency in Europe and Australia, a practice we should probably bring back into fashion.

Before we speed to the tasting itself we would like to thank all of you who gave Flaviar a try and especially those who are with us from the early beginnings.

Now, take a shot (quite literary), celebrate new beginnings and dazzle your friends and the one you like the most - yourself.

We wish you flavourtastic 2013!

Cheers,
Flaviar Team.
