Pasta, wine, suits… is there anything Italy can’t do? Clearly not, as evidenced by this exquisite Laphroaig that was distilled in ’88 and bottled by a boutique bottling company in Italy named Samaroli. Looks were deceiving on this one. It came to Samaroli with a simple label—no fanfare, no fuss. Because as it turns out, the liquid inside had plenty of fireworks and sparks of its own.
Bottled in 2001 at 46% ABV, this Islay malt is one for the books.
