They picked the slopes of Wild Turkey Hill as a place for their new distillery. It was closed for a short period during Prohibition, and in 1954, it started operating under the guardianship of Jimmy Russell, the 'Buddha of Bourbon'. Through the ages, Jimmy passed down his wisdom to his prodigious son, Eddie. Like a sponge, Eddie absorbed every tradition, every technique, and every touch of craft from his revered father.
