Protector of the flock and guardian of the nearby Tequila Hill, Rooster Rojo is made at the Tequila Fabrica de Tequilas Finos distillery, situated in the City of Tequila, Jalisco state of Mexico. This quintessential Mexican distillery started its business at the brink of the millennium and is part of a stately colonial mansion built in 1923. Rooster Rojo’s Tequila is made using purely 100% Blue Weber agave, which comes from Los altos de Jalisco.

Rooster Rojo Ahumado Reposado Tequila is like a sweet and smokey hug in a bottle! This smooth sipper is crafted from a blend of slow-roasted and cooked agave and then given a two-month spa retreat in big French oak barrels. But before it gets all relaxed, it goes through a fancy double distillation process with Mexican silver, which gives it a deliciously complex and soft taste. At 40% ABV, it packs a smoky punch without being too in-your-face and is the perfect addition to any Tequila cocktail that needs a little extra oomph.
