― Not sure what the low score is about… the flavor profile is as described, it’s very smooth and very good blend of rum and rye. I don’t think I could do better. Makes you wonder what some people are even tasting when they give scores. Maybe Flaviar should give a scoring guide so people don’t give 2s to good dram. Not my absolute favorite drink but exceptional for what it was doing.

The aroma is filled with the best of both drams — plenty of tropical fruit and mint over a spicy butter toffee notes.
Flavor / Taste / Palate
Taken neat the palate opens bold with a complex flavor explotropsion ranging from orange blossoms and marmalade to bananas foster and pineapple on one side and Rye spice, anise, caramel, and a hint of maple on the other.
Finish
The finish is big and bright with a long warming.
