Casa San Matías was born in Mexico’s revolution era. As he country was discovering its own identity as a new nation, Dan Delfino Gonzalez founded the Tequila Distillery in 1886. The business thrived, and in 1940 they moved all operations to Ojo de Agua in Los Altos de Jalisco where it still sits today. Tequila is all they produce across three brands; their namesake Tequila San Matías, Tequila Puebla Viejo, and the premium Rey Sol Tequila.

In Spanish, "Rey Sol" means "King Sun." And each bottle of Tequila Rey Sun is a hand-crafted art piece of glass-making with a classic, culturally-designed sun-face with the golden amber hue of the Spirit shining through it. The Tequila inside is an artistic achievement equal to the bottle that holds it. 100% blue agave Tequila aged for six years in a combination of American and French oak casks, making this delicate sipping Tequila an Extra Añejo worth your attention.
