really enjoyed the smoothness and taste
The corn flavor is wild.
My favorite of the three I tried. Def the smokiest, but very smooth. And the tobacco and fruit really pop.
Very floral and smoke on the nose. Extremely strong medicinal notes with a lingering Smokey finish.
Smoky, white pepper and green olives. Went down smooth.
Smokey, orange, and fruity. The best mezcal I have had so far
Had this in a sampling box and loved it! It is sweet and young. I particularly enjoy how the smokey and the sweet dance in this.
Very pleasant and fruity up front giving way to a terrific mineral smokiness. Nice drawn out finish as well.
Sampled in tasting box. Very sweet and a decent finish.
Not very smooth but flavor was decent.
Not as Smokey as many, with a smooth finish and warm feeling.
meaty, sweet finish, lots'o'smoke.
Not exceedingly smooth. I am not sure that I would seek it out to buy, but I would definitely drink it if it was around.
Nice smoke notes and obvious agave flavor. Slight sweetness.
Too smoky for my tastes. Feels like a campfire in my mouth
To smokey for my tastes. Smelt and tasted like it had been through a house fire.
Easy drinking Mezcal
The smoke was more medicinal. Pretty hot, slightly sweet. With a drop of water, the flavor opened up with herbs and honey.
Tobacco flavor was interesting...aroma is delicious!
Very medicinal nose and taste. Lightly smoky and agave forward. Slightly spicy in the finish. Not my favorite mezcal.
Very clean agave smell, more vanilla than citrus notes but that’s just me, great classic agave taste, tasty but light smokiness in both the smell and taste.
I usually like darker whiskies, but I have to say this one is really good. The smell is very distinctive and while strong, it's also pleasant. I could smell fruit. The taste was really surprising and pleasant as well. It was very smooth and I could also taste the fruit. It was slightly sweet.
I am really enjoying the opportunity to taste things I normally wouldn't try with flaviar. I'm very glad I decided to try this tequila!
Smokey and good with a touch of fruitiness too which was nice
It was spicy but in a good way and very smooth.
My first mezcal tasting.....sweet, orange, smokey, medicinal, and olive brine on the finish. I was very pleasantly surprised by this since it had a lower score. I think you’re either gonna like it a lot or not like it at all. I like it a lot.
Got a bottle of it. It’s a 10. Unique and perfect.
A nice sweetness
A superb Smokey mezcal with lots of subtlety. Hotter in the nose than on the palette.
I really loved this. Don’t let the ratings from non-mezcal drinkers fool you. This had a full spectrum of flavor with delicate herbaceous/floral notes, fruit, and a pleasant smoke backbone. Will be ordering a bottle after sampling.
Great Mezcal. Well balanced, smooth!
Very earthy in taste. Only comes to life after a lingering sip. Some what of a smokey flavior in the after taste. Had better, but would not turn away an offered shot to sip on.
FLAVORFUL, good aftertaste, lingering after taste...
Smokey and smooth. Super yummy.
If you enjoy the delicate essence of nail polish remover, this is the mezcal for you. Not sure if I got a bad batch or what but this mezcal is straight up nasty. When I visit Mexico I drink cheap local mezcal and really enjoy its nuance, but in this case I had to pour it out. Thinking / hoping there is some mistake or tasteless joke based on the mediocre reviews this has. Anyway, if you need a strong bar cleaner or just want to grow chest hair, give this mezcal a try!
It is a classic, delicate, Mezcal with a soft nose, light body that leads to a short & rich finish.
Great chilled over ice
Most terrible tequila I have ever tasted
Pleasant to sip, balanced smokiness and gentle flavors.
It was my first taste of mescal. It takes bit to get used to the smokiness - but I liked it.
the after tones are exquisite and not so overpowewring as to take them away! she's a real individual mescal.
on the rocks she dominates the night and she compliments the oily citrus notes from the limes!
Fruity and smooth
Hideous stuff. Paint thinner would be better, it just wouldn't have a smoky finish.
My first Mezcal. I have nothing to compare this dram with. Being a single malt scotch, bourbon, and rhy drinker never prepared me for the wild taste and finish. Not sure if I like it but really glad to have tried it.
It's got a bite but tasty.
My first time with Mezcal. a sharp, flinty sort of taste with a gentle kick.
I liked this the best out of the Mezcal tasting box I received for sure. I think its under rated.
