An exceptional Irish Whiskey that takes luxury to a new level of flavor and finish.

Irish Distillers is a subsidiary of liquor-giant Pernod-Ricard that stubbornly adhere to their time-tested methods and practices for making the world’s most popular Irish Whiskeys and they don’t give a fig-leaf what those crazy Frenchmen think about the matter. Irish Distillers makes the famous Jameson, Powers, Paddy, Redbreast, Green Spot, and Midleton Very Rare Whiskeys along with Huzzar Vodka and Cork Dry Gin. The good folks at Redbreast set themselves apart by being one of the very few remaining Single Pot Still Whiskeys and provide five core variants ranging from 12 to 21 years old along with a few limited editions — all of them are top-notch.

Somewhat famously, Redbreast Irish Whiskeys are aged in a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks. Well, not only is newly released Redbreast 27 Year Old aged for nearly three decades in that magical combination, it has spent nearly its last full year finishing in Ruby Port casks.

When an Irish Whiskey fan reads those words they’re hard to take in. That is such an elevated level of luxury it sounds crazy. It’s like one of those super-premium gold-star restaurants where they take their best recipe and cover it in gold leaf and shaved truffles. And you KNOW that you want to taste it for yourself as soon as you have the opportunity to do so.

Here is your opportunity.

The Harp is the official emblem of Ireland, not the shamrock. The reason for shamrock’s fame is Saint Patrick.

Irish Whiskey has many varieties: grain Whiskey, malted barley pot-still-distilled, and ‘pure pot-still’ (or ‘single pot still’ as it is now officially known). Then there is Poitin, one of the first Spirits ever made.
Irish Whiskey became the most renowned Whiskey and most popular Spirit in the 19th century after the outbreak of phylloxera and the total devastation of Cognac production in France.
A Whiskey academy was started in 2013 at the Midleton Distillery.
Irish Coffee recipe: 1 cup freshly brewed strong coffee, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 3-4 tablespoons Irish Whiskey, heavy cream - slightly whipped.
