What does Rebel Yell Kentucky Bourbon taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Rebel Yell Kentucky Bourbon and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

William
William,
Great? No. Darn good for the money? Yes. This one seems to be changing as they built out the new distillery, but it's settled on a more grain-forward bourbon with a lot of rye notes. Not bad for sipping and great for mixing.

guest,
For the price, it’s a solid whiskey. It is not complex but definitely sippable.

Nicholas
Nicholas,
smooth

Lisa
Lisa,
Just ok. Light on flavor

Chris
Chris,
Good everyday table bourbon. Not complex at all, but it is smooth and very drinkable. We all wish we could drink George T Stagg everyday, but for normal people this is a great weeknight pour.

Bianca
Bianca,
Average bourbon ok for sipping on the rocks or in cocktails.

Jonathan
Jonathan,
Good one that is inexpensive. Not too sweet like Jack or Jim.

guest,
Best value for a $16 bottle of bourbon

Paul
Paul,
Truly wonderful bourbon. Complex smoky flavors with oaken overtones supported by caramel and vanilla. A truly classic American Bourbon. Even though another distiller may have licence number 1 to distill spirits, Rebel Yel has been being made from the same recipe, the same way, by the same family since the 1840's

Nathan
Nathan,
Light, slightly spicy, with a corn taste, what you’d expect from a bottom shelf whiskey, but very drinkable.

Aaron
Aaron,
I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try. I believe you can find a better bottle of bourbon for the money than Rebel Yell! Very smooth for a young bourbon and a very nice price at around $16 a bottle!
