This is a release from Rare Malts—a great Diageo line that features scarce and great bottles hailing from distilleries that are typically only found in blends, but are a splendid catch when launched as a single malt.

Being one of the key ingredients of Johnnie Walker blends, Teaninich might fit that profile. But don't judge it for that. This great malt from 1972 is bottled at cask strength and delivers robust spice, a smokey kick and is known for its grassy and oily core. This drop is rare and is not to be missed.

This is a one of a kind, under the radar malt that is a favorite with hardcore maltheads.

Antti
Antti,
It is an outstanding, rich, 23 year old Single Malt Scotch Whisky that has a robust birth with notes of grass, smoke & spice; while an intense & oily life adds notes of malt & beer; that leads to a complex & warming death with floral, citrus & port.
