The oldest distillery in India, dating from 1943 with 75 years of distillation expertise, Rampur prides itself in its unique distilling and aging proposition: climate. Positioned at the foothils of the Himalayas, their Spirits are exposed to the polar opposite of climate conditions throughout the year with the flavor of the famous Indian Summer giving Rampur an added dimension and depth. And we all know what major temperature swings mean: faster aging and major flavors!

Rampur Indian Single Malt Whisky Signature Reserve is a truly exquisite exercise in time and aging. Celebrating the 75 birthday of the distillery, this luxurious limited-edition Whisky was put to age peacefully in American Standard Oak Barrels for an extended period of time, slowly enriching over many Indian summers. The four unique casks, handpicked and reserved for the Master Maker, were then transferred into a specially-selected PX Sherry Butt from Jerez, Spain for the juice's final years of maturation.

This Oldest Indian Single Malt Whisky has aged graciously through the Himalayan chill and sweltering North Indian heat, smoothened and matured to a mellow 44.5% ABV (89 proof) for your ultimate sipping pleasure.

India consumes 370 million gallons of Whisky per year, but outside the borders their production isn’t known for being top notch (mostly due to the fact that the majority of Indian Whisky is made from molasses and hence of lower quality). But there are some prodigious exceptions: Armut Fusion, for instance, was the third best Whisky in the world in 2010 according to Whisky Bible, while more and more new fine Whisky is being made each year.
