guest,
One of my first whiskey to dive into as an enthusiast so I may be a little bias but for the price it’s affordable and very easily drinkable over and over again. I always keep a bottle in my collection and seems to be my easy go to. They also carry a sherry oak version that’s worth a try. I would really like to visit the distillery one day and sample others.

Kyle,
Explosive taste on the tongue as it enters the mouth. Takes a few seconds for the heat to take over, comes as its halfway down your throat. Complex, keep finding layers of flavors with each sip. Finish lingers for quite a while with hints of liquorice, herbal, black tea, bitterness last longer with more taste, almost get the char from the barrel as it stays with.

Brian
Brian,
Amazing!!

Neil
Neil,
Very good and smooth rye whiskey. Great value for the money. I would put this up against some of my more expensive favorite rye’s, such as Whistlepig 10-year and Masterson’s.

Fantastic, complex smoooooth rye! Highly recommend!!!

Alex
Alex,
Wow...a true hearty rye that’s not too harsh for novices to try either. It’s comes on strong with the spice & pepper and quite potent on the nose. The caramel, however softens the spice and furthermore compliments the earthy herbal notes that follow in the finish. Would recommend to anyone!

John,
A little bitter, but a hint of sweetness as a rye will have. Not as smooth as I expected. Still good though

Michael,
Very spicy but also very drinkable. This has become a staple in my liquor cabinet. Perfect for an old fashioned.

Sebastian
Sebastian,
Has become one of my new favorites and is now regular part of my whisky home bar. great neat, smooth, with hints of spice, and wonderful in a Manhattan, the spice works well with the sweetness of the vermouth, add dashes of either orange or grapefruit bitters to enhance the flavor profile. Highly recommend this whisky!

Charles
Charles,
My Mrs. and I disagree on this one. I get lots of grass, hay, pepper and pine. She gets some caramel and cherry. It tastes hotter than the proof from both our perspectives. I give it a nine; she gives it a seven.

Joshua
Joshua,
Very smooth with a nice sweet touch and the classic spicy rye finish

John
John,
Drank with a little ice. Smooth with hints of spice. Finishes well.
