Character Goatson
This is the last of the 2001 vintage of 'age-numbered' Port Charlotte expressions. This comes with the nickname "Ar duthcas"- Gaelic for "Land of our heritage". This is very well-peated to 40ppm. Matured in American Oak and bottled at cask strength. There are six different tin designs and the release is limited to 30,000 numbered bottles.

Flavor Spiral TM
About the Flavor Spiral
What does Port Charlotte PC8 taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Port Charlotte PC8 and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

Everything is done on-site -- including bottling (which is rare).
Is Scotch always Scottish? What do you think? Yes. The answer is yes.
Scotch Whisky is seldom aged in new barrels. Bourbon and Tennessee Whiskey casks are usually used for maturation. In addition to that, Whisky is often matured or finished in various wine casks such as Sherry or Port.
Blended Whiskies are the result of years of craftsmanship and dedication. A master blender does not simply wake up one day with a profound ability to create a cohesive and enjoyable liquid. From nosing the liquid to working out quantities of each different grain and malt to go into the blend, a master blender can take years, if not decades, to train.
Bruichladdich is one of the few distilleries that dedicates 100% of production to their broad range of single malt Whisky.
Categories of Scotch Whisky: Single malt, Blended malt (formerly called Vatted malt), blended, single grain and blended grain Scotch.
