Top reviews for Port Charlotte 2008 - Islay Barley:

― Salty with a hard, potent smoke. Rich, oily. Fights back. A pro-level Islay. Not to be effed with. Deeply rewarding if you prefer the salt-first Islays (Bunnahabhain, or obvs Bruichladdich). A hard, charcoal smoke - think more Caol Ila than Lagavulin.
