Character Goatson

We checked our thesaurus and the only adjective that sufficiently describes this luxury is 'unprecedented.' From the sunny hills of Grande Champagne comes a masterpiece and a timeless Hors d'Age classic: Ferrand Legendaire Cognac.

It's held by an exquisite hand-blown crystal decanted by Waltersperger, and it carries the terroir, endless sunshine, and ocean breeze in every sip. Its complexity comes from zebra wood casks where staves are replaced every few years and its refined character from decades of experiences of Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel.

This sublime offering will allure you with the subtle spiciness of clove, cardamom, pepper, and paprika; with the sweet richness of vanilla, honey, and buttered caramel; and fruity floral harmony of roses, jasmine, saffron, Port Wine, and passionfruit. Superb!

Character Dogson
There are three primary grades of Cognac recognized by law: V.S., V.S.O.P., and X.O, but we also know Napoléon, XXO, and Hors d'âge.
The wine used for Cognac is very dry, acidic, and thin but excellent for distillation and aging.
Believe it or not, the French aren’t all that fond of Cognac. In fact, they export nearly 90% of their production.
Citadelle Gin is produced by Maison Ferrand in the same pot still as their Cognacs.
There are six different wine-growing areas (crus) authorized to produce Cognac - in descending order of prestige: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, Fins Bois, Bons Bois, and Bois Ordinaires.
Rancio is a highly desirable nutty flavor usually found in extra-aged fortified wines (Port, Sherry, Madeira, Marsala …) and fruit-based Spirits, namely Cognacs, Calvados, and Armagnac. It appears in Cognac after roughly 10 years of maturing in oak casks, becoming more intense over the years.
