Founded in 2013
Pickering’s Gin was launched in Edinburgh in 2013 by friends Marcus Pickering and Matthew Gammell. Based on an old Gin recipe from July 1947, it was kept a family secret for over 66 years.

The old recipe has been fine-tuned for modern tastes, and today contains 9 botanicals which are macerated for 24 hours in pure grain Spirit, before being slowly and gently heated in a bain-marie style still.

The result is an extremely smooth Gin with a wealth of flavor; from fresh, bold lemon and lime peels, juniper and fennel, to spicy and warming star anise and cloves.

What does Pickering's taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavours that you'll taste in Pickering's gin and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.
