Ok. Not super memorable. Stronger than expected burn given initial sweetness.
Loved it. I got the 24 mini bottle sampler from 'whiskeys around the world' and this was my favorite.
Hard to find a particular flavor.
It is an outstanding, complex, Welsh Single Malt Whisky that has an aromatic birth with notes of Vanilla fudge, apple & citrus zest; while a rich life adds notes of pepper, ginger, malt, tangerine, crème brûlée & fresh biscuits; that leads to a spicy & roasted death with a hint of spice cake & rye.
Light apple nose. Sweet vanilla on the taste, with a little apple underneath. A little spicy as well. Definitely on the sweeter side overall but the light color certainly reflects into a light, approachable whisky. Absolutely enjoyable overall.
Delicious, very vanilla forward and smooth
Smooth, fruity. A great summer dram. You could probably put it in a fruity cocktail.
Smooth finish and great flavor. This whisky is easy to drink and you can really taste the apple vanilla.
Light color, light and smooth taste. Sweet and easy to drink.
Spice it there but after that I feel like I’m missing any complexity. Fine to drink, but not getting much after initial spice hit.
Spicy, sweet..missing something. Would go well with or after dessert but too sweet and citrus alone. I am not a citrus person.
Citrus, vanilla and spicy. Kind of like rye spicy, but easy to drink.
I liked the spicier side of the scotch. It’s like a rye had a baby with a scotch.
A little on the spicy side, maybe it was the combination of the spice and the citrus, too much for me.
Nice simple sweet spice...good for dessert
Not extraordinary about this one
Light gold color. Nose is light with apple, citrus, and malt. Palate is light with apple, tangerine, some spice, and a cake flavor. Finish is light with some spice and fairly short.
Thin but very sweet with mild spice. Poor nose though.
Mild nose with a background of sweetness, taste is mostly vanilla with mild spice at the end and a bit of a bite going down. Solid and enjoyable but the youth is apparent
Sweet and good but has a bit of burn needs water
Color is very light, pale straw. Nose is light and clean, with notes of green apple and faint banana, maybe some flashes of citrus. First sip is smooth and clean, with subtle dried fruits and vanilla flavor. As you take more sips, notes of malt and creme are noted. The finish is moderate in length, with the mild black pepper and more fruit lingering.
Overall, nothing displeasing, decent finish, just maybe a little too clean, not exactly exciting.
Cymru am byth!
Smooth and sweet
An absolute must I'd say it's a great beginners whisky
One of my favourites. A great Whisky that's so like Scotch, but has an unintelligible note you can't find anywhere else. Smooth, very flavourful. The stuff of legend indeed.
Absolutely handsome. Always have to have a bottle in the house for sharing with friends. Makes a fantastic tasting gift too!
