— I like strong peat and smoke in my whiskey, and Peat's Beast really delivers. The first taste is strong alcohol, followed by many different flavors, including a strong caramel / butterscotch. The smell is quite strong, which my wife notices as soon as I pour a glass.

Richard
Richard,
Very drinkable. Despite its high proof its great straight. Probably because there's quite a note of sweet butterscotch under the peat.

Nathan
Nathan,
Thick nose of tar and peat. Sweet smoke that subsides as you enjoy the flavors followed light hints of sherry on the palate. Okay bonfire smoke on the finish.

ALEXANDER
ALEXANDER,
Not my thing, and I normally enjoy peat. Smell is overwhelming, taste leaves a lot to be desired.

Kerr
Kerr,
Not bad. And at 52 percent. Hmm

Jimmy
Jimmy,
Got it in a tasting box to try. Just like the notes state - “it’s an acquired taste”. Definitely not my own. Strong smell, light texture, powerful taste.

Lawrence,
Smoke and peat that don’t ease with water. Phenols on phenols. Leaves you with the dryness after eating salty popcorn

Joe
Joe,
Wow. Not for the weak.

Elizabeth
Elizabeth,
This wasn’t my favorite. Too much bite for me.

Juhani,
Really, really peaty indeed. The tasting experience was nothing less, than bestial. Not the easiest drink out there, but seasoned, brave souls can tame this beast, and enjoy it's warm, animalistic brutality.

Simone,
Very strong, maybe too much. Absolutely enjoyable, with an unexpected sweet aftertaste.

Rather strong, but very delicious

William,
Well what can I say to describe this other than it's like lighting a stick of dynamite and using it as a cigar. The flavour does soften to reveal a lovely smokiness that does make the whole face explosion worth it. Be warned drinking to much will put more hairs on you body then big foot after he's missed a barber's appointment
