— This has been my favorite peated for over a year now. The finish is fantastic.

— Super tasty

— Woah. First sip is like a wave breaking one you. Smoke and peat and malt wash in and then crash! Hot and spicy! Then gone, clean with a bit of smoke. Really really nice, but hard not to water a bit. Water brings some wood and herbs. Really nice.

Michael
Michael,
A lot of smoke with this one and the spice really warms you up as it goes down. If you like a Smokey flavor this is for you, not so much for me.

Lawrence

Quick hit of smoke and phenols with spice. A linger of honey

Erick,
Love it! Big peat fan & this has lots of smoke, oak & honey. It's cool that it's from India.

Stefanie
Stefanie,
Too sweet. Sickeningly so. I kept sipping in hopes it would improve. No such luck. The only benefit was the spicy and smoky parts...the more I thought about it the lower I rated it.

Donald
Donald,
I like the smoky and earthy flavors. I like this very much.

Couldn’t finish

Lloyd
Lloyd,
Part of my tasting box. I didn't get the peat at first, very subtle on those notes. The oak was there with a light char. Not a bad dram, but not among my first choices for a peated whisky.

Brandon
Brandon,
Got it in my tasting box so I was sure to savor and take my time with it. As soon as I opened it I could smell the smoky peat emerging from the bottle. After letting it breathe a bit I could really smell the mellow oak. Every sip was smooth in the beginning, builds to a spicy burn, like a black pepper flavor in the back ground, finishing with a hint of sweet roasted spices that lingered for a while. It is one of those whiskeys that warms you up, so I would love to have some on a cold winter day after being outside in the snow. This was my first Indian single malt ever and I will definitely keep in in mind for the fall/winter here in Colorado.

Spicy with a hint of sweet finish. I love it.

Antti
Antti,
It is a good, intense, Indian Single Malt Whisky that has an aromatic birth; while a complex life leads to a long & complex death with notes of dried orange, rose & malted barley. The high alcohol masks the signature potpourri.

marlynn,
Very alcohol forward. Beautiful Amber color. Peat nose with a hint of orange peel. Heat! Smoke forward. Peat and phenol taste. Added 3 drops of water. That tamed the nose to almost a herb-like quality. The water brought the honey forward with a smokey peat finish. Drew the heat farther back. Would be far down the line in my choices. Tasted new.

Joseph
Joseph,
An unusual peated whiskey. Has similar flavor profile to a cognac but just with a kick of heavy peat.

Steve
Steve,
Pretty solid, don’t get me wrong. But they overdo it with the alcohol. It covers too much of the taste.

I was really excited to try this one. Sadly I wasn't as impressed as I though I would be. For me - not bad but nothing to write home about.

Michael,
If you like phenols this is your dram. If you want any other flavor at all - this one isn't for you.

Melissa
Melissa,
Smelled very strong, wasn't very smooth. The initial taste was kind of like rubbing alcohol but the after taste wasn't bad.

Nice smoke on the nose. Balanced sweetness followed by spice and heat.
