Parker’s Heritage Collection honors Heaven Hill’s late sixth-generation Master Distiller Parker Beam with an annual series of rare, limited-edition American Whiskeys. Mind you, these offerings boast the highest-ever scores on Whisky Advocate of all American Whiskeys. This time, we’ve gotten our hands on the unforgettable 1st Edition Cask Strength Bourbon, aged for 11 years and bottled at 126.4 proof in 2007. We just wish it wasn’t so very rare.

*This bottle is a collector’s item; we will not be able to entertain any refunds or exchanges.

Heaven Hill is a well respected distillery, even amongst their competitors. After the fire of 1996, the local major distilleries Jim Beam and Brown Forman shared their stills with Heaven Hill while they rebuilt.
Bourbon was declared "The Official Spirit of America" by an Act of Congress signed by President Lyndon Johnson in 1964.
Bourbon matures quicker than Scotch due to higher temperatures in American warehouses.
Bourbon Is a ''new barrel Spirit'': One of the legal requirements for Bourbon is that it only be aged in brand new oak charred barrels.
Bourbon rules refer to manufacturing methods rather than location. Bourbon must be matured in new and charred American white oak casks for at least 2 years. If the bottle has no age statement, the Bourbon is at least 4 years old. No coloring or flavoring of any type is allowed, and the mash bill must contain at least 51% corn.
Whisky or Whiskey? The spelling differs geographically. In Scotland, Japan, and some other parts of the world, distilleries usually spell it Whisky; in Ireland and the USA, they spell it Whiskey.
