DISTILLERIE TESSENDIER ET FILS

Distillery
Distillerie Tessendier et Fils, which makes Cognac Park, is located in the North-East of Cognac, France. Cognac Park is produced by a family-owned company Tessendier, whose lineage goes back to the year 1880.

Gaston Tessendier was a teacher of mathematics who became a proud owner of a vineyard in Cognac.

He looked after the grapes by himself, while still working as a teacher, but his business became so successful that he began expanding his vines, eventually opening a distillery to produce the first Tessendier Wines and Cognacs.

Gaston provided his Cognac to different Cognac houses in the region, fast becoming recognized for the quality of his products.

The Tessendier family sold their stock to different Cognac houses up until 2005, when two Tessendier brothers decided to produce and bottle their Cognac under their own brands. A range of six brands was created, of which Cognac Park is one.

All their Cognacs are produced from grapes that are free of chemicals and pesticides, and the range is surprisingly large, incorporating ten different expressions from a VS up to an XO and a Grande Champagne blend.

Park joined forces with some of the world's best chefs to bring you new ways of enjoying their Cognacs. Their VS, Borderies, and XO go exceptionally well with Sturia Caviar, while the VSOP is perfect for a Park Old Fashioned with Angostura Bitters.
